Story
In order to raise awareness for the work of ANCOP and to rally support for its many programs, here is a chance for you to help ANCOP and more importantly to help the poor.
ANCOP stands for ‘Answering the Cry of the Poor’. It is a global network dedicated to helping those who are poor to live with dignity and hope.
In Australia, ANCOP is registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) as a non-profit organization called CFC ANCOP Australia Ltd. It is duly granted a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status by the Australian Tax Office (ATO). This means ANCOP issues tax deductible receipts to all donations that are $2 and above.
ANCOP currently serves the poor in the Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu. Through the donations it receives, ANCOP funds three main programs, namely:
- Education Sponsorship
- Community Development, such as building houses for the poor
- Calamity and Disaster Response
Please visit cfcancop.org.au to find out more.
